A brief video tour of the Sinclair estate in early Spring.

This video was created using Pitivi, an open source linux video editor. It's a promising application but currently light on features. As such the sound and video mixing is a little choppy.

Pitivi - Video Editing for Linux (Finally!)
Pitivi - Video Editing for Linux (Finally!)

We've been waiting a while for something like this to come along. Yes, I know, this is not the first video editing tool for Linux but from what I have seen it is currently one of the most promising. I'm not about to criticise the other offerings and the hard work that has undoubtedly gone into them but Pitivi just looks convincing.

Lack of video editing software (along with other media creation) is one of the biggest hurdles when it comes to weaning users of Windows and onto Linux. Lets hope this tool lives up to expectations and makes that transition just a little easier.

B.2.B DVD
B.2.B DVD

This was a very comprehensive project utailising hundreds of still photos, video clips and sounds recorded on my travels from Brisbane to Bangkok.

It is in part an experiment, an expression of myself, my feelings from the trip and the places themselves.
