This section is devoted to my photographic and digital imaging pursuits during 2001.

Using black and white photographs scanned into the computer I then applied numerous effects and colour distortion filters to produce differing results. Three of the final prints were sold to friends.

Simple colourisation of a close-up photograph. This image is of a music mixing desk that belonged to one of the guys at Viatx.

I can`t remember what happened to this roll of film but it was useless and I liked the way it told a story in a different way, rather than capturing images. So, I took a photo of it on a white background and used the computer to adjust the colour levels.

This is a night shot of a geothermic power station near Taupo. I have used the computer to enhace the colous for extra effect.

An exercise in digital imaging and manipulation using multiple layers and colour enhancement. The original image portrayed a flatmate from my first flat in Wellington. I like the grainy, stark feel of this image.

The Brighton pier is a magnificent piece of sculpture that thrusts out to sea from the Christchurch coast. Several images are combined along with digital colouring to make an interesting aged and textured feel.

This is a composite image made from two photos taken during a holiday in the South. One is of a road sign I found while waiting for a ride, the other is the beach front near my Uncles place. I just iked the way the images combined.

This photo isn't mine, although I did repair a large scratch in it. Using multiple images and digital manipulation I restored and altered the image for a textured look and increased depth. The woman in the photograph is my great grandmother.
