If you're like me and work on a number of projects at any one time then maybe this tool will help make recording time more accurate.
It allows you to quickly create projects (or collections or projects under a client grouping) and then start and stop a timer as you move from one task to the next. It also allows for basic assessment of actual time spent vs budgeted time allocated to a project.
There are some useful reporting tools too. A good case for Adobe Air.

We've been waiting a while for something like this to come along. Yes, I know, this is not the first video editing tool for Linux but from what I have seen it is currently one of the most promising. I'm not about to criticise the other offerings and the hard work that has undoubtedly gone into them but Pitivi just looks convincing.
Lack of video editing software (along with other media creation) is one of the biggest hurdles when it comes to weaning users of Windows and onto Linux. Lets hope this tool lives up to expectations and makes that transition just a little easier.
