Australia
My first solo overseas adventure began on February 14th, with me winging my way out of Christchurch for the exotic city of Brisbane on the Gold Coast.
This Australian adventure consists of two months traveling up the east coast, checking out the numerous beaches, hanging out with other travelers and generally having a great time.
There is so much to see and the distances are so vast that it can take many hours just to reach the next town. It can get a bit tiring as the scenery can remain the same (sugar cane plantation for example) for 20 hours of driving.
Fraser Island, Magnetic Island and the Noosa region were my personal highlights.
Into the Tropics
I have plunged north, taking a 10 hour bus trip from Agness Waters to Airlie Beach. It's hot, humid and tropical.
Underwater Photos
A collection of images from my water activities. Some from Fraser Island (lake McKenzie) and others from various snorkeling outings.

Subtropical beaches of white sands, lined by pandanus palms and fringed by the clear blue water. What a beautiful place.
