Siushine at Last - Day Six

Things are looking up, the sun has come out. See the sun climbing out of the sea at Karakau beach. My alarm went of shortly after, to remind me not to miss the sun. Thanks technology, late again. I decide I had to celebrate the appearance of the sun and so made myself a large breakfast and then set about exploring the surroundings. I assembled my bike (cleverly stored on the roof for situations such as this).

A day like no other. Awoken by the deep background thunder of the sea. Brilliant golden globe, rising from the edge of sight. The curve of infinity, logics horizon. Deep blue of cloudless sky, widest, emptiest of ages. Between sea and sky on solid ground, Limestone and bush thrusting green and bare. Up on high the world was large, and all things small, far, far below. Out of sight, out of sound. Wandered, sought and sound. Waterfalls of legend, stacked two by two. Descending for better view, cascading stream, tall and white. Billow out and down. Days due, time to move. Rattle down the road, vague notions of direction. Daylight, twilight, here we are again. Restocked, recharged, clean and cool. New lands, same sea, big and bold. Night closes on local wines, and travels to the termination of view. My bike and I, sliding through the darkness. Pushing on, gliding by far into the night. Night of dark splendour.

Species of the stars. You astronomical organism. Host, body of the heavens.

We look and listen. Play the games and look out for number one. Work together and cooperate and community shall be born. Perfect, stage is set. Now where to?
